At Shoham Travel, we understand that plans can change. This cancellation policy explains your options for cancelling or modifying hotel bookings made through our platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a reservation.

Cancellation terms vary depending on the rate type and individual hotel policies. The specific cancellation conditions for your booking are always displayed clearly before you confirm your reservation.

2. Rate Types & Cancellation Terms

We offer different rate types, each with its own cancellation terms:

Free Cancellation Rates

These rates allow you to cancel free of charge up to a specific date (the "free cancellation deadline"), which is clearly shown during booking. If you cancel before this deadline, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the deadline will be charged according to the hotel's late cancellation fee, which may be up to the full booking amount.

Partially Refundable Rates

Some rates may offer a partial refund if cancelled within a specific timeframe. The refundable amount and deadline are displayed during the booking process. After the deadline, the remaining amount becomes non-refundable.

Non-Refundable Rates

Non-refundable rates are clearly marked and typically offered at a lower price. These bookings cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded once confirmed. The full amount is charged at the time of booking. We strongly recommend checking the cancellation terms before selecting a non-refundable rate.

3. How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel a booking, please follow these steps:

  1. Email our support team at travel@shoham.com.cy with your booking reference number and the reason for cancellation.
  2. Include your registered email address so we can verify your identity and locate your booking.
  3. Receive confirmation — our team will process your cancellation request and send you a confirmation email with details of any applicable refund.

Please note that cancellation requests are processed during business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Cyprus time). Requests submitted outside business hours will be processed on the next business day.

4. Refund Policy

When a cancellation qualifies for a refund:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking.
  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • The refund amount is determined by the cancellation policy of the specific rate you booked.
  • Currency conversion differences between the booking date and refund date are not covered by Shoham Travel.

5. No-Shows

If you do not arrive at the hotel on your check-in date and have not cancelled your booking, this is considered a "no-show." No-show bookings are typically charged the full booking amount with no refund, regardless of the original cancellation policy.

If you are unable to make your trip, we strongly recommend cancelling your booking as early as possible to minimize charges.

6. Booking Modifications

If you need to change your booking dates, room type, or number of guests, please contact our support team. Modifications are subject to:

  • Availability at the hotel for the new dates
  • Any price difference between the original and new booking
  • The hotel's modification policy

In some cases, it may be more practical to cancel the existing booking (if within the free cancellation period) and make a new reservation.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or other force majeure events that make travel impossible, Shoham Travel will work with the hotel partner to find a reasonable solution. This may include a full refund, date change, or credit for future use, depending on the hotel's policies.
